What is DeFi?

DeFi, (or "decentralized finance"), is a generic term for financial services on public blockchains. DeFi offers you classic banking services (collecting interest, borrowing, lending, buying insurance, trade in derivatives and assets, and much more) but with more speed, without paperwork and without intermediaries. Like most cryptocurrencies, DeFi is international, peer-to-peer (P2P) ( it intervenes directly between two people without being routed via a centralized system), anonymous and open to all.

What are the advantages ?

Opening: no application or “opening” of an account is necessary. Just create a wallet and you're done.

Anonymous: No need to provide your name, email address or other personal information.

Flexible: move your assets wherever and whenever you want without authorization, without endless transfers.

Fast: Interest rates and rewards, constantly updated (every 15 seconds!), can be much better than on Wall Street.

Transparent: everyone involved can see all transactions (rare thing in private companies)
